In 1998, when I migrated from Sri Lanka with my wife & daughter (2y), a friend brought me to his home in Johnsonville and ever since, I have been happily living in this lovely northern suburb of Wellington.

My family grew from 3 to 4 by adding a NZ born son in 2001, we have been well settled in Grenada Village since 2000. Before taking voluntary redundancy, I worked with one of NZ’s top banks as a Business Relationship Manager for nearly 15 years.

My wife has been an early childhood educator with Barnardos since 1999. My daughter is at Victoria University. (She was the Newlands College Head Girl in 2013) while our son is at Onslow College.

I consider myself as a People Person with a lot of passion and involvement with community activities. I am the current President of Sri Lanka Association of New Zealand Inc. and hold many offices in different community organizations.

I am passionate about offering solutions to concerns of people and give them the best possible experience while dealing with me. I have done this as a friend, a bank manager, a business mentor, a cricket coach and a community leader.

Together with my exposure in the finance sector, many networks and life experience, I am very confident that I can be helpful and offer a “total package under one roof ” from the time you think of buying/selling a house until you achieve that goal, to have a great overall experience.

I love the game of cricket, which I have played and done administration, coaching and now umpiring.

Exploring the world is my other interest – having lived, worked or travelled to over 50 countries so far.

I very much believe in multi ethnic, multi religious, multi-national, multi-lingual culture where everyone will be respecting each other while enjoying the company of each other.

Proud to be considered as a “Kiwi-Lankan” .
